This project involved the careful restoration and refurbishment of a classical bungalow located in a prominent neighborhood. Original retro architectural elements were thoughtfully preserved and restored, allowing the home’s historical character to guide the overall design transformation.
The spatial planning was adapted to support the client’s sociable lifestyle, with continuous seating and stepped platforms flowing into a communal dining area designed for gatherings. A Zen-inspired atmosphere is subtly introduced through elements such as vent blocks, rice paper panels, miniature gardens, and screen partitions, resulting in a home that balances heritage with contemporary living.
