Nestled within a quiet suburban enclave in Selangor, two adjoining semi-detached houses were transformed into a single expansive residence with two distinct interior concepts tailored to the lifestyle of a retired couple and their family. One wing embraces a modern Oriental-inspired language influenced by the opulence of Macau’s luxury casino hotels, featuring oak paneling and exotic stone surfaces, while the other adopts a sleek contemporary aesthetic defined by dark timber, textured glass blocks, and a refined black-and-white palette.
The façade was redesigned with a timeless architectural expression, enhanced by lighting that accentuates the building’s form after dusk. Thoughtfully curated tropical landscaping softens the exterior, creating a tranquil retreat that subtly stands out within the neighborhood.
